Terms and conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. You may use Reframe only with a resume and job text you have the right to submit. If you submit someone else’s information, you are responsible for having their permission.

Reframe rewrites your resume in the language of a job description you provide, using what is already on your resume. You review each change and decide what to keep. Nothing goes into the download that you did not keep.

Reframe will not:

• Add employers, schools, degrees, tools, or numbers that your resume does not support.
• Add a missing skill unless you confirm you have it and describe it.
• Treat the match score as an applicant tracking system grade, or as a promise of an interview or a job.

The match score is a weighted keyword match. Hard skills count most. Cover letters are written from the resume you approved. You can download Word or PDF. Reframe is a writing tool. It is not legal advice, career advice, or a statement about whether an employer should hire you.

You sign up with an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Email reframeresumeapp@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it. We may refuse a sign-up, or close an account that breaks these terms.

You own the resume, job text, cover letters, and other content you submit. You give us a license to host, copy, and process that content only to run Reframe for you: storing it, sending the relevant text to OpenAI to produce a result, and showing the result back to you. The license ends when that content is deleted, except for copies described in the privacy policy, including payment records Stripe keeps.

You promise that you have the rights to the content you submit, and that submitting it does not break the law or someone else’s rights. You are responsible for reading the resume and cover letter before you send them to an employer.

You will not:

• Break the law, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
• Use the output to present experience, credentials, or results you do not have.
• Try to access another person’s account or data.
• Probe, scan, or break the service, or get around a plan limit.
• Overload the service, resell it, or share your account.
• Reverse engineer the service, except where the law does not allow this restriction.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this.

Each plan includes a number of tailored jobs a month:

• Free: 2 jobs a month, no card needed.
• Starter: 25 jobs a month for $9/mo or $90/yr.
• Pro: 100 jobs a month for $19/mo or $190/yr.

Yearly billing is 2 months free compared with paying month to month. Cover letters are free, up to 3 per saved job. Gap bullets are free, up to 10 per saved job. A tailor run uses one job from the current period only when it returns a resume. A tailor, cover letter, or gap bullet that fails does not count.

The free plan resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). A paid plan resets on the day of the month its Stripe billing period started, including a yearly plan. A cancelled paid plan keeps its remaining allowance until the paid period ends.

We sell paid plans in US dollars. Stripe is the payment processor: it collects the card, tax, invoices, and receipts. Stripe may add tax. We store your plan, billing period, status, and Stripe customer and subscription ids. We do not store your card number. The price is the price on the pricing page when you subscribe. We may change a price later. A new price applies to a later renewal. It does not change a period you have already paid for.

After you subscribe, Plans & billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can change plan, update the card, or cancel. You can cancel anytime. Canceling stops the next renewal. We do not refund the current period, except where the law requires a refund.

Output can be incomplete or wrong. You must review it before you rely on it or send it. You are responsible for the resume, cover letter, and other text you download or send. We do not guarantee that an employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system will accept it, or that you will be contacted or hired.

We own the Reframe name, logo, and software. These terms give you a personal right to use the product while your account is open. They do not give you any other right in the name, logo, or software. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Reframe without owing you a payment.

You may delete your account at any time with Delete my data on the Account page. What that removes, and what Stripe keeps, is described in the privacy policy.

We may stop offering Reframe, or close your account if you break these terms or if we are required to. If we stop offering Reframe, we cancel renewal. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund.

Reframe is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a tailored resume will produce a job, an interview, or any other result. Some states do not allow these disclaimers, so parts of them may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, even if we knew they were possible. Our total liability for a claim arising out of these terms or Reframe is limited to the amount you paid for Reframe plans in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing in that time. These limits do not apply to liability the law does not allow a contract to limit, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where a limit is not allowed. Some states do not allow these limits, so parts of them may not apply to you.

You will cover Emerson Stewart against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise out of your content, your use of Reframe, or your breaking these terms, except to the extent they are caused by our willful misconduct. We will tell you about a claim we ask you to cover.

Email reframeresumeapp@gmail.com and describe the dispute. We will try to resolve it informally. If we have not resolved it within 30 days after that email, either of us may bring a claim in a state or federal court in the United States that has authority to hear it.

The federal laws of the United States govern these terms. These terms do not require arbitration. If a law where you live gives you a mandatory right to bring a claim in your home courts, or another consumer right that a contract cannot waive, that right still applies.

We may update these terms by posting a new version and changing the effective date at the top. If you already have an account, continuing to use Reframe after that date means you accept the update. A new account stores the version accepted at sign-up. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Reframe and delete the account.

If a court holds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Waiting to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Reframe. You may not assign them. We may assign them, for example if the product is transferred to someone else. Section headings are for convenience.
